4th Grade Biome Websites (by Mr. Waterman)
St. Paul's Fourth Grade Science begins the school year learning about different biomes. We focus on the Tundra, Grassland, Taiga, Rainforest, Desert, and Chaparral Biomes. This year the students created spreadsheets to help them organize their data as they researched the different biomes. When the spreadsheets were completed, the students used the information to create websites. The websites were an engaging way for them to demonstrate their knowledge of each biome while applying real-world technology skills and resources, in addition to practicing their research and communication skills.
