Education: B.A., Concordia University, River Forest, Illinois, 1992, M.Div. Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Indiana, 1996.

Personal Info: Married to Linda. They have two sons.

Enjoys: Reading, playing acoustic guitar, cheering for the Chicago Cubs and the Minnesota Vikings!

A Bible verse with special personal meaning:  Second Corinthians 5:15, “He died for all that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for him, who died for them and was raised again.”

Pastor Scott Christenson was installed as St. Paul’s Senior Pastor on Sunday, September 7, 2014.

Pastor C was born and raised in Bloomington, Minnesota. He graduated from Concordia University in River Forest, Illinois in 1992 and from Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1996.

After seminary, he was called to First Lutheran Church in Lake Elsinore, California where he served from 1996-1997. In 1998, he became an associate pastor of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Palatine, Illinois. In 2004, he became Prince of Peace’s Senior Pastor and served in that capacity until he came to St. Paul’s.

Pastor C married his wife, Linda in 1992 and God has blessed them with two wonderful sons.
