Summer Reading is so important. Many programs start in May, so consider joining one or a few of the ones listed below. These programs offer both accountability and incentives to make summer reading a bit more exciting.
- Sign up to get an Orange County Public Library Card (not to be confused with a City of Orange Library Card). The Orange County Library system has a network of physical branches and online resources that will be invaluable for your student. **I suggest pairing this with the Free Libby App (https://meet.libbyapp.com/). Where they can download digital titles, audio books, and some read alouds. There is no picking up or returning books, they simply disappear when the loan time expires.
